Key Information
Campsite:
📍 Cylinder Beach Campsite – unpowered tent sites located just a few metres from the beach, near cafes and restaurants. Pure bliss!
Transport:
🚌 Shuttle Bus: Runs every hour.
North Stradbroke Island has three main towns: Dunwich, Amity Point, and Point Lookout.
The ferry arrives at Dunwich, which is about 22km from Point Lookout (a 20-30 minute bus ride). The bus stops at Cylinder Beach.
🚙 Car Transport:
Tati will bring one vehicle, allowing gear storage in the back tray.
If we share one car, it will significantly reduce costs.
Barge Cost: $300 return + fuel + camp dinner (split evenly and reimbursed to Tati).
Tati has 4 spare seats, and the rest can take the shuttle, which runs every hour and takes just 20 minutes.
On Sunday, Tati will help with car rotations to Brown Lake so everyone gets there.
