Key Information

Campsite:

📍 Cylinder Beach Campsite – unpowered tent sites located just a few metres from the beach, near cafes and restaurants. Pure bliss!

Transport:

🚌 Shuttle Bus: Runs every hour.

  • North Stradbroke Island has three main towns: Dunwich, Amity Point, and Point Lookout.

  • The ferry arrives at Dunwich, which is about 22km from Point Lookout (a 20-30 minute bus ride). The bus stops at Cylinder Beach.

🚙 Car Transport:

  • Tati will bring one vehicle, allowing gear storage in the back tray.

  • If we share one car, it will significantly reduce costs.

  • Barge Cost: $300 return + fuel + camp dinner (split evenly and reimbursed to Tati).

  • Tati has 4 spare seats, and the rest can take the shuttle, which runs every hour and takes just 20 minutes.

  • On Sunday, Tati will help with car rotations to Brown Lake so everyone gets there.
